Alejandro J. Lopez is a registered nurse with a decade of experience in diverse areas, primarily as a critical care and hospice nurse. He proudly shares his extensive knowledge through his consulting firm, Journey Vitality Consult, aiming to support pediatric programs and enhance hospice organizations in providing exceptional care. With strong commitment to educating and developing both geriatric and pediatric hospice programs nationwide, Alejandro believes every age deserves compassionate care tailored to their unique journey. His leadership experience spans charge nurse roles in various ICUs, nursing supervisor positions, and ultimately serving as director of nursing for Kindred LTAC, Hospice of El Paso, and Home Sweet Home.

Alejandro holds certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CHPN, and CHPPN, and is currently pursuing dual degrees in Nursing Administration and Business Administration at Purdue University, with plans to obtain a PhD in Hospice and Palliative Care. As an ACHC and CHAP consultant, he has successfully restructured nursing teams across multiple settings. Known as Mr. Hospice, he has been dedicated to improving hospice and palliative care in Texas and New Mexico, with plans to expand his impact to other states. The Mr. Hospice podcast, available on Spotify, shares insights on hospice care and features special guests discussing various topics, while Alejandro continues his mission as a HPNA State Ambassador for Texas and New Mexico.
